The Bahamas was our next destination. We had a weather window of about two days starting the day after Tioga arrived in Miami. We stayed up all night packing the boat. We got a slip at Dinner Key Marina to make loading easier. Tioga rented a car to help us get supplies. Once we had four hundred dollars of groceries and our new radar reflector installed, we were ready to cross Biscayne bay at night. Once we reached the Atlantic the sun rose.
We were given tons of lures for fishing by Drew, Piper's Uncle, and decided to try them out. We caught a dolphin fish (Mahi Mahi) trolling and did not know what to do with it once reeled in. We brought it into the cockpit and it flailed around violently. Blood was everywhere. We put it back into the water and it broke the line.
Once we got to Bimini all we did the entire time was snorkel and spear fish.
Tioga speared two Hogfish.
Piper speared two snapper. I speared a jack and a snapper. Needless to say, we ate fish the whole time.
For the rest of the Bahamas entry, we will leave you with photos. Remember, you can click on a picture to enlarge it. After the Bahamas photos we have the page about our trip to Key West. Be sure to check it out.

Wonderful pictures! You guys look great!
Sorry, "portugais" refers to me, Bevin, and not to the Portuguese language. Not sure why it's showing up like that.
